Why do you experience pain in your hands or feet?

Wondering why you may experience burning or tingling pain in your hands or feet? This could be due to nerve damage associated with peripheral neuropathy. Changes in your body can negatively affect the peripheral nervous system, which could lead to pain such as burning sensations, tingling pain or numbness.

The peripheral nervous system is made of millions of nerves, linked to each other and to muscles or to receptors throughout your body. Think of it as a series of electrical wires connecting your brain and body, allowing them to communicate. The nerve fibers are covered by a material called myelin, which is insulation for your nerves, protecting the nerve fiber. When your nerves lose their myelin sheath protection, this can be one of multiple contributors to peripheral neuropathy symptoms such as pain, weakness and numbness.

On top of nerve damage, peripheral neuropathy can also be influenced by the following: some types of chemotherapy drugs, surgery, nutritional diet, diabetes, consumption of large amounts of alcohol, or an underactive thyroid.

Nervive Nerve Relief is formulated to help relieve pain associated with peripheral neuropathy. Results can start in as little as 2 weeks.

If you experience any of the symptoms above or have questions about peripheral neuropathy, please consult a healthcare professional.
